STRUCTURAL DESIGN

Structural design is the origin and core competence of MSIng. We accompany projects worldwide from the initial design idea to realisation. We question the status quo and deal directly with the challenges of the respective task. Our goal is always the successful implementation from an aesthetic, functional, economic and sustainable point of view.


With currently 50 highly qualified engineers and designers at five locations, we cover all areas - regardless of project size or type:

For static and dynamic calculations, whether linear or non-linear, 2D or 3D, we use software from Ansys, Sofistik and Plaxis, among others.

We create planning documents with software from Autodesk and Nemetschek, among others. For BIM, we rely on Revit.

SUSTAINABLE STRUCTURAL DESIGN

Sustainability and circular economy are a major topic for the planning of building construction projects. We take into account in our planning that structural design also plays a major role in this process and how important this is for the use of available resources. We develop individually adapted sustainability strategies in the planning process and thus support building projects that are assessed according to green building systems (DGNB, LEED):

• Intelligent supporting structure (high component utilisation, air spaces)
• Flexible use (simple, generous skeleton construction, few beams)
• Dematerialisation, weight saving
• Durability
• Conservation of resources (use of R-concrete)
• Waste recycling (use of R-concrete, plastic recycling)
• CO₂-savings through the use of appropriate concretes / cement
  

OBJECT PLANNING

MSIng also accompanies projects worldwide in the field of object planning, starting from the initial design idea through to realisation, and stands for an integral planning approach. We can look back on over 20 years of experience and support clients and architects in the realisation of technically demanding engineering structures in the following areas

• bridge building | civil engineering | net and rope structures | special construction

We create planning documents with software from Autodesk and Nemetschek, among others. For BIM, we rely on Revit.
For the preparation of tender documents, we use iTWO from RIB.

CAD CONSTRUCTION

Our team in Skopje supports us in the preparation of formwork and reinforcement plans for our projects. The good connectivity via the internet and the resulting fast and uncomplicated exchange of data between the sites enable a smooth process.

NET AND ROPE STRUCTURES

For thousands of years, nets have been used in the most diverse areas. Our invention of a flexible net made of stainless steel ropes has succeeded in opening up new impulses, perspectives and applications for this technology, which is as old as mankind itself.

In addition, we use the constructive properties of nets in our prestressed supporting structures and have worked out completely new construction methods and structures in the last 20 years.

Ropes are as old as mankind itself, but they have not lost their inspiring properties. We consider the bridge structures of Johann August Röbeling, such as the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, which he planned and built with steel ropes until 1883, as the birth of modern rope architecture.

In architecture, ropes allow material-minimised and thus economical and sustainable constructions. For over 20 years, we have been working daily to further develop and implement these properties.

STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS

According to DIN 1076, all engineering structures are subject to a test cycle.

We carry out all the necessary inspections in accordance with DIN 1076:

• HP - main inspection
• EP - simple inspection
• SP - special insprection, inspection for a special reason (e.g. after impact, fire, flood, overload, according to the results of a recalculation)
• Creation of building books with "SIB-Bauwerke"

EXPERT REPORTS

Preparation of expert reports in the area of building damage as well as economic renovation concepts including planning documents as well as the accompaniment of necessary material examinations and tests.
